Dr. Meghan Schultz received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.  Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Schultz and her husband, Michael, relocated to St. Peters, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, where she practiced dentistry.  She was born and raised in Maquoketa, Iowa and her family resides in Eastern Iowa.  She knew her heart was still in Iowa, and looked for an opportunity to return to this area.  She was excited to have the opportunity to call Eastern Iowa "home" once again.

Dr. Schultz is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Iowa Dental Association.  She serves as Secretary of the Dubuque District Dental Society and Treasurer of the Dubuque County Dental Society.

Because dentistry is constantly evolving, Dr. Schultz knows the importance of being a life-long student.  She consistently broadens her dental knowledge with many hours of continuing education in the dental specialties.

She also knows the importance of being involved in community education.  She is a member of the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce and is on the Visiting Nurses Assocation's Board of Directors for Healthy Mouths/ Healthy Children.  She also enjoys visiting the grade schools in the area to speak with the children about good oral hygiene.  Dr. Schultz also enjoys dedicating her extra time to less fortunate patients in the community and beyond.  She has donated her time to the St. Louis Give Kids a Smile Campaign.  In July, 2003, Dr. Schultz volunteered as a dental missionary for two weeks in Grecia, Costa Rica, providing much-needed dental care to people in underserved areas.

Dr. Schultz is excited and proud to call Dubuque her home.  In her free time, she enjoys exploring Dubuque and the Mississippi River, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
